There are number of Golf clubs in Southampton. Chilworth Golf Club, Romsey Golf Club, East Horton Golf Club, New Forest Golf Club, Brockenhurst Manor Golf Club, South Winchester Golf Club and Ampfield Golf & Country Club are some among those.

Chilworth's 18-hole course has been gradually developed over the last 25 years, having started out as just a driving range. Romsey Golf Club can be found just on the edge of Southampton.

 

East Horton Golf Club is set on a 260-acre site in the Hampshire countryside, former Ryder Cup player Guy Hunt redesigned this 6,186-yard course in 2009. New Forest Golf Club course is in the heart of the lush New Forest, but beware of the wildlife and general public wandering across the fairways! Brockenhurst Manor Golf club course is designed by Harry Colt - who also worked on Muirfield, Hoylake and Wentworth - Brockenhurst Manor is not cheap but it's easy to see why. The Ageas Bowl County Golf Club is currently undergoing development to turn it from a nine-hole into an 18-hole course
