SUMMARY:Jefes Ramen Buy 1 Give 1 Ramen Night at Platform Tavern
DESCRIPTION:Jefes Ramen is coming to Southampton for one night only. On Tuesday 17 November 2026\, Jefes Ramen takes over the kitchen at the Platform Tavern on Town Quay for a Buy 1 Give 1 ramen night. Every bowl bought funds a matching meal for someone experiencing homelessness. \nJefes Ramen is a community interest company from Stockport\, started by Jerelle Okoro (Jefe)\, a former professional basketball player who played in London\, Leicester and Manchester. The idea is simple: big bowls of ramen in a proper local pub\, the pub keeps 100% of the bar\, and every bowl pays for a second meal for someone who needs it. \nOn the menu are bowls such as Tokyo Chick (shoyu chicken)\, Miso Shroom\, and The Big Baloo\, a ramen inspired by the full English. Guests come for a midweek night out; the Platform Tavern keeps all of its bar takings while the pop-up fills a quieter night in the kitchen. \nThe Southampton night is part of a UK run that also covers Bristol\, Birmingham\, Salford and London under the campaign name 382k Reasons. Tickets are £12.50 and online sales end Tuesday 10 November at 6pm. Full details and booking are at https://jefesramen.org/ramen-in-southampton.html. \nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/jefes-ramen-382k-reasons-big-bowls-buy-1-give-1-southampton-tickets-2003345815262 \nIf you cannot make the night\, the 382k Reasons Crowdfunder is open until Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 6:50pm: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/jefesramen. Volunteers can also sign up at https://jefesramen.org/raving/join. \nEvent summary for the listing: Buy 1 Give 1 ramen at Platform Tavern\, Town Quay\, Tuesday 17 November\, 6-10pm. Every bowl funds a matching meal. Book before online sales close Tuesday 10 November. \nOrganiser: Jefes Ramen CIC\, jefesramen@gmail.com\, 07403 220661
